Pick your breakfast from an organic, fifty-tree ORCHARD bursting with apples, peaches, pears, cherries, plums, persimmons, apricots, and grapes, or grow your own sustainable food garden anywhere on the five-acre MEADOW of rock-free alluvial soil.The MAIN HOUSE sits just above the meadow, with 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, living room and full bath and a huge screened dining hall, where you can comfortably serve up to 40 people. The BARN houses an ATV and tool shop on the ground floor, and has two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a balcony upstairs overlooking the yard. There's also a BOAT & TRACTOR shed, a large FIREWOOD Shed and a small RED CASITA for storage. Nearby the cozy BLUE and PUMPKIN COTTAGES, have sleeping lofts, wood stoves, and kitchenettes. Tucked between them is a double YELLOW SHOWER HOUSE with two separate showers and toilets. Otter Space is set up to be a fully off the grid, sustainable way of life where the water flows freely out of the mountain, and firewood is plentiful because half the property is a Doug fir forest. It's all supported by solar power, propane, and wood stoves.The Lodge might also be used for office space if you're interested in a summer business of hosting Hip Camp and Air B&B visitors who come to see the redwoods, pick wild blackberries and swim in the river. Guests stay in one of the buildings, or camp in one of six campsites. Maple, Grotto River and Pepper Tree camps overlook the river, while Morning Meadow, Deer Meadow and Orchard Meadow camps circle the 5-acre meadow where black tail deer graze in the evenings. Each site has a picnic table and a fire pit. There's also a Camp Shower and two Outhouses. Nestled among the mountains, the nearest small town, Orick, is an hour's drive away through a redwood forest. The wild and beautiful Northern California coast is calling you!
